These books are published and sold by MyTrueQuiz. When these terms say “we” or “us” they mean that company; “you” means the person placing the order. Contact details are on the contact page, and every order confirmation email reaches a real person who can reply.
Adding a book to your cart does not reserve it. Your order exists once you complete checkout and we send a confirmation email, and it is that email — not the checkout page — that forms the contract between us.
If a title sells out between your order and our packing bench, we will email you and either hold the order until it reprints or refund that line in full. You choose which.
Prices are in US dollars and can change, but never after you have ordered. Multi-book discounts apply automatically to the order total when it crosses the stated threshold, and they stack with a coupon only where the coupon says so.
Card payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number, and nothing is charged until you place the order. Wallet payments — PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and similar — are governed by that provider’s own terms in addition to these.
We pack and post within 48 hours of your order on working days. Delivery estimates are exactly that: an estimate given to us by the carrier, not a guarantee of a date.
Once a parcel is with the carrier we cannot change its address. If it goes missing, tell us and we will chase the carrier and send a replacement rather than leaving you to argue with them.
You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind, and that holds even if you have filled in a few puzzles — we would rather you tried a book properly than kept it sealed. Email us with your order number and we will send a prepaid label.
Refunds go back to the original payment method within three working days of the parcel being scanned by the carrier. Where a book arrived damaged or misprinted, we do not ask for it back at all: we simply replace it.
Gift orders carry no price on the book and can be posted directly to the recipient. The right to return a gift order sits with the person who paid for it, not the recipient, unless you ask us to arrange it otherwise.
The quizzes and articles on this site are written for general interest. They are not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and a score on a quiz is not a diagnosis or a recommendation to act.
Where an article cites research we do our best to describe it accurately and link the source. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it.
The puzzles, book text, illustrations, articles and page designs on this site belong to us or to the people who made them for us. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back, and to photograph a book you own. You may not reproduce or resell the puzzles, print the books yourself, or republish the articles in bulk.
Anything you send us — a review, a suggestion for a title, a comment — you allow us to publish alongside your first name. We will not publish your email address, and we will remove any comment on request.
We collect only what an order needs: your name, delivery address, email and, where you give it, a phone number for the courier. We do not sell that data, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you bought a book. You can ask us to delete your details at any time once an order is complete.
If we get something wrong we will put it right — replace the book, refund the order, or cover a cost we caused. What we cannot accept is liability for indirect loss: a missed birthday, a delayed gift, or anything that follows from a carrier delay outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
We may update these terms, and the date at the top of this page always shows when we last did. The terms that apply to your order are the ones published on the day you placed it, so a later change never affects an order already made.
